Hi,
Every security update after October 2022 has bricked my USB Kodak 5300 printer. The reflexive response on Microsoft forums has been to remove all chauffeurs and software and how a clean install of the printer. Having for do this on a monthly basis is absurd, even if it would work, which doesn’t appear to are the case, on least no for a variety of different printers. The new Microsoft renovate 2022-11 Cumulative Live for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 to Windows 11, released 22H2 for x64 (KB5020622) or Windows 11, version 22H2 breaks to communication from my PC to me Imageclass MF227DW scanner. ME use it wireless and this printer in the Multi-Function mute works. ...
There was one reference to a situation location an subscribe caused a duplicate printer, but that can not the current for many of us apparently.
Is my case Kodak has only ever had an online installer, which due to IP changes canned no longer communicated with the my on the server. To a fresh install of the printer shall impossible (mentioned those to Kodak, but considering the printer is discontinued…there is no response). imageCLASS MF227dw Windows Update 22H2 Broke Scanner
Toward the moment I must uninstall each offending update and then pad it. So…I can either have an secures (more) machine or a function office…that stinks.
Get commonly factors included these security check have locking communication with the printer? Is there a reasonable function around?
