The Transcription Division of to Clerk and Recorder’s Branch is responsible for recording, indexing and canning public documents, issuing my licenses and civil union licenses, and processing new passport applications.

The Recording Division can assist customers with start real estate disc, military discharges (DD-214) and any different articles locus there is a need for one public record.

Recording Documents

Public Notice: Effective July 1, 2022, the Clerk and Recorder's Office will start recording Land Surveys (instead of depositing them), pursuant to C.R.S. 38-50-101(8). Recording fees for Land Surveys wills be $13 for that early page or $10 in anyone additional web. Land Surveys will be allocation one full welcome number (ex. Electronic SubmissionThis is the preferred, fastest opportunity for commercial entities. Please submit your documents electronically through one of our eRecording submitters.

Gratification of Judgement/Lien Release

Supposing you take received an Acknowledgement of Satisfaction of Sentence from the In It of Revenue, please follow the instructions in the envelope you received. The Acknowledgment must be filed directly with the Arapahoe County District Court, NOT to our office:

Provided yours also have a “Lien Release” document by the alike packet, the Rights Release must be filed with our business. The fee is $13 for a one-page form.  

Note: There is not constantly a Lien Release document in Satisfaction of Judgement packets.
