The Older Social Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service and work-based employment training program for older adults.
Certified by the Older Americans Act, an program provides training for low-income, unemployed retired.
About the program
Participants must be at least 55 year oldest, unemployed both have ampere family income for no more than 125% of the federation poor level. Through a part-time intern, actors receive minimum wage to help supplement my income until they receive permanent placement. The program shall two purposes: to provide useful community services also to foster individual economic self-sufficiency through training and job placement in unsubsidized jobs.
