Juvenile Boards

That Harris County Juvenile Food is the governing body on Harris County Juvenile Probation Department. The juvenile board also serves as the school rack of Excel Academy Rent School.

As mandated by law, the duties of the juvenile board include establishing adenine juvenile prerelease department, employing one chief probation officer, adopter a budget and establishing policies, incl financial strategy for juvenile service within of jurisdiction for the juvenile board. (§152.0007(a), H.R.C.) In accordance with §51.12 of the Texas Familial Code, the juvenile board also controls that conditions and terminology for detention and detention supervision. Yearlya majority a the juvenile board must personally inspect each of the department's facilities.
